Over a Century of Logistics - McLane Group

Founded by Drayton McLane, Jr. in 1992, The McLane Group is a holding company comprised of McLane Advanced Technologies (MAT) and five other enterprises that demonstrate a tradition of excellence and innovation begun more than a century ago.

Robert McLane’s wholesale distribution business grew from a retail grocery business launched during the late 1800s. His grandson Drayton joined the company in 1959, armed with a Bachelor of Arts in Business and a Masters in Business Administration. Innovative use of leading edge technology to enhance the distribution system, supported by relentless adherence to core values, has propelled the McLane Group from an operation with annual revenue of three million dollars into a nineteen billion dollar enterprise.
