Founded in 2004, Drayton McLane, Jr. established McLane Advanced Technologies with the idea of creating a solution specifically for the U.S. Army. From there, he pulled together a decorated and seasoned group of individuals to develop the strategy and set the direction for the company. The executives tapped to lead the various business units also bring substantial industry specific experience with a priority of executing the strategy under the McLane values.

Lieutenant General Mitchell H. Stevenson
U.S. Army (RET.)
Lieutenant General Mitchell H. Stevenson was born in Linz, Austria, the son of a career Army NCO. He was a Distinguished Military Graduate and was commissioned a Regular Army Ordnance Officer from the ROTC program at West Virginia University in May 1974. After serving initially as an Infantry Officer, he was inducted into the U. S. Army Ordnance Corps in March 1976.
General Leon J. LaPorte
U.S. ARMY (RET.)
General LaPorte served thirty-eight years in the U.S. Army as a highly decorated combat veteran of both the Vietnam and Gulf wars, with command experience as Commander of U.S. Forces Korea. General LaPorte has also served as a member of the AAFES Board of Directors.
Lieutenant General William E. Mortensen
U.S. ARMY (RET.)
Lieutenant General Mortensen retired from active duty in August 2008 after 35 years of service in the United States Army. His last assignment was as Deputy Commanding General, United States Army Materiel Command, Fort Belvoir, Virginia where his responsibilities centered on the operational aspects of the command in the areas of acquisition, logistics and research and development. General Mortensen was responsible for all field activities and subordinate commands for AMC.

Former Commander In Chief: United Nations Command, and ROK / US Combined Forces Command, and Commander, United States Forces Korea
General Schwartz's command experience spans the full spectrum from company command to Commander-in-Chief, U.S. Forces Korea. He serves as the Senior Advisor of the McLane Advanced Technologies' Senior Advisory Group. He remains fully committed to superior customer service and soldier support.
General Benjamin Saunders Griffin

General (Retired) Benjamin Saunders Griffin is a native of Emporia, Virginia and retired on 31 December, 2008, after serving a 38 year career in the United States Military as an Army Officer ― the last fourteen as a General Officer.

With over 33 years of military logistics experience, Major General James Chambers, USA (Ret.) is uniquely positioned to lead as President and Chief Operating Officer at McLane Advanced Technologies. He concluded his distinguished career as the Director of Logistics, J-4, U.S. Central Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.

Mr. Rutland joined MAT from McLane Company, where he spent 17 years managing the development of application systems and integrated solutions for both the Grocery Distribution and Foodservice business units, including Warehouse management, Distribution Logistics, Procurement, Inventory and Billing, Route Management, Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, and multiple Customer and Vendor software applications.

Charlyn Renfrow is a dynamic, certified Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) VP with over 20 years in the field. She joined the MAT team as the Director of Human Resources in July 2005.
John Lawson Ballantyne IV
Vice President Business Development Operations
Jack, a third generation Army brat, was born at Camp Irwin, California in 1955. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1977 with a degree in Civil Engineering and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant of Armor in the US Army. Jack served in the US Army for over 30 years serving in a variety of command and staff positions around the world.
